Wood

• Protect your new wood furniture from undue wear and tear. Use coasters under hot and cold beverages to prevent water rings. Place a writing pad down to avoid marks from pens, pencils, or crayons.
• Dust with a soft, damp cloth.
• Clean and remove smudges using a slightly damp cloth with mild soap and water. Immediately wipe dry.
• Avoid using chemicals or abrasive cleansers.
• If needed, periodically apply a small amount of furniture wax to restore the wood's finish.

 

Fabric

• To clean up spills, immediately remove as much as possible. Blot, never rub. Then dab spill with a white, absorbent cloth dampened with warm water and a mild soap.
• Fabric can be brushed when dry.

 

Leather

• Avoid placing in direct sunlight or close to heat or air conditioning.
• Do not clean with soaps, saddle soaps, oils or all-purpose cleaners.
• Clean spills by blotting immediately with a soft, dry, absorbent cloth.

 

Metals

• Avoid contact with solvents.
